3 Bad Ideas and 3 Good Ideas
It's 2021. A few mistakes to avoid and a few recipes for growing your brand in the new year.
Happy New Year! We had a wonderful holiday season over here in Oregon, and I hope that each and every one of you had a family-filled season of making memories and getting some rest. It feels like the world is coming back to life again, even as our country faces some challenging days. Let’s all commit to loving our neighbors well in 2021.
Onto our Bad and Good ideas for the new year. I may dive deeper into each of these in the coming year, but for now — a simple list:
Bad Ideas
Pretending that video doesn’t matter.
Avoiding social media like it isn’t vitally important to your brand.
Bland, generic website copy that doesn’t convey your brand’s voice.
Good Ideas
A classic winning combination: a great innovation paired with nostalgia.
Just-in-time notifications that resolve the needs your end users are experiencing. (Think about how good Domino’s is at this with their app)
Getting in front of a camera to talk directly to your network.
